I was born and spent the first twenty-five years of my life in Murmansk, Russia. I attended art school from a very young age, but I was mostly taught by my father, a truly gifted artist. In my teenage years, when faced with a choice between art and chasing girls, I chose the latter. I graduated from Murmansk Marine Academy, majoring in electrical engineering. In 1991 my family moved to Denver, Colorado, where today I have a wife and two wonderful kids (both have dedicated their lives to art – one is a professional violist and the other is a dancer).
I have not touched a pencil or a paint brush for almost three decades. But one day the painting muse knocked on my door and would not leave. I started painting again. Or maybe technology caught up with my laziness: today I paint on an iPad with a digital pencil.
If you enjoy my art, you may enjoy my realtor services even more. Every house I buy or sell comes with one of my paintings of your choosing.
